MEET LAURA
aura Martindale Welch was originally born in Sacramento, but has been a resident of the Lowcountry for the past 19 years.
Laura graduated from the Governor's School for the Arts & Humanities ('99 Furman University), Summerville High School (’00) and Coker College (’04 Hartsville, SC) with a B.A. in Fine Arts. Laura has a strong sales and marketing background which propelled her in the corporate world, but there was always a strong pull to become a business owner and full-time artist. In 2009 the stars aligned and ARTISTIC i was born. "I feel truly blessed to spend every day of my life doing what I love and making an impact on people in the process," states Laura. "I thank God for my gift and my ability to share it."
Picasso is my Maltese, who tags along with me on most mural projects. He is a great companion and brush cleaner. =)
